Arriving in New York from London in '89, it could be said that no one has done more for Drum & Bass in America than DB. First with his hardcore Breakbeat club NASA, then by launching Sm:)e communications and releasing the first Jungle singles and compilations in the U.S. He, along with DJ Dara, opened the respected Drum & Bass record store and label, Breakbeat Science, which quickly became the very epicenter of the Jungle community in the U.S. DB recently released his 11th mix CD in 12 years titled "Exercise 5." Under the name Ror-Shak, DB and DJ Stakka produced and are about to release their first artist album together. They are focusing on and pushing the limits of the more musical side of the genre, which as a DJ, is what DB has become best loved for.
